About Us & Certifications
Joseph McKeever has been in the construction industry for over fifteen years. In 1994 he graduated with a Diploma in Construction Technology with perfect attendance and was the recipient of Philadelphia Tradesman Award. He then went on to define himself as a young carpenter. Working for a general contractor in Chestnut Hill, PA he was able to put his skills to the test in areas of renovations, plumbing, electric, roofing and HVAC work. In 2000 Joseph moved on to work for Bentley Homes, a high end builder in Chester County for six years where he became a project manager. Joseph directed complex projects ranging from $800,000 to $1.8 million bringing them to fully operational status. His group consisted of home-owners, sales, marketing, and a full punch out team. This gave Joseph the edge to become well versed in his industry. In 2006 he accepted a position as vice president of construction at J. A. Reinhold Residential Company in Center City Philadelphia. He and his team converted two historic buildings in to luxury condominiums. In the same year the company won eight 2007 William Penn awards including Condominium of the Year and Condominium Conversion of the Year. Feeling diversified enough Joseph left his position to pursue other endeavors. Bringing with him fifteen years of construction knowledge and experience, Joseph founded Colonial Independence Home Inspections, Inc. in 2008. He wishes to utilize his skills to give his customers the highest quality home inspections.
Joseph is a member of: InterNACHI-International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, ESA-Environmental Solutions Association, HAPCO-Home Owner Association of Philadelphia, Chamber Of Commerce, IAC2-International Association of Certified Indoor Air Consultants and a member of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of Home Inspectors.
